Core Web Vitals

Core Web Vitals (CWV) are a set of specific metrics introduced by Google to help website owners measure user experience on the Web.

These metrics cover aspects such as page load time, interactivity, and visual stability of content, currently represented by Largest Contentful Paint, Cumulative Layout Shift, First Input Delay, and Interaction to Next Paint.

As of June 2021, Google has made it official that these metrics are part of the complex set of Page Experience signals and thus impact page rankings on the search engine.
