An Entry Page is the first page a visitor sees when they arrive on a website. It is exactly the reverse of an exit page and can be any page on the site, not necessarily the home page.
It is important to know what the main and most common entry pages of the site are and work on optimizing them, because they give the first impression of the site to visitors. Simplifying, a good entry page should be attractive, easy to navigate, and should provide clear information about what the site offers.
